Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PawsConnect mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by IAMTalent Co. ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.

PawsConnect is a platform that connects pet owners with local pet care service providers, including groomers, boarders, dog walkers, trainers, sitters, and more. The Service also includes community features (PawsHub) and an AI-powered pet assistant (PawsPal). We act as a marketplace and are not directly responsible for the services provided by third-party businesses listed on the platform.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• One person may not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions.

You agree not to use PawsConnect to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content or reviews
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users or businesses
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Spam, phish, or send unsolicited commercial messages
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service without authorization
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Post content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Advertise or promote services outside of PawsConnect's official business listing features
• Abuse the community features (PawsHub) by posting irrelevant, harmful, or off-topic content

If you register as a business on PawsConnect:

• You represent that you are authorized to operate the business you are listing.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your business information, pricing, availability, and service descriptions.
• You agree to honor all bookings confirmed through the platform unless there is a legitimate reason to cancel.
• You may not use the platform to discriminate against clients based on protected characteristics.
• PawsConnect reserves the right to remove listings that violate our policies or receive repeated legitimate complaints.
• You retain ownership of content you post, but grant PawsConnect a license to display it on the platform.

PawsConnect facilitates connections between pet owners and service providers. With respect to bookings:

• Transactions are between pet owners and businesses directly. PawsConnect is not a party to these transactions.
• Businesses set their own pricing and policies.
• Cancellation and refund policies are determined by individual businesses.
• PawsConnect is not responsible for disputes between pet owners and businesses, though we may offer mediation.
• Payment processing is handled by third-party providers subject to their own terms.

PawsPal provides AI-generated information and recommendations for general pet care guidance. Important limitations:

• PawsPal's responses are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice.
• Do not use PawsPal for emergency veterinary situations — contact a licensed veterinarian immediately.
• PawsConnect makes no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.
• We are not liable for any decisions made based on PawsPal's recommendations.

PawsHub allows users to post community content. By posting content, you:

• Grant PawsConnect a non-exclusive license to display your content on the platform.
• Represent that you own or have the rights to the content you post.
• Agree not to post false lost/found pet reports, which could waste community resources.
• Acknowledge that PawsConnect may remove content that violates our guidelines.

The PawsConnect name, logo, and all related product names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of PawsConnect. All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by PawsConnect and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. PAWSCONNECT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT ENDORSE OR GUARANTEE THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR LEGALITY OF ANY BUSINESS LISTED ON THE PLATFORM.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAWSCONNECT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PAWSCONNECT IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We may suspend or terminate your access to PawsConnect at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Houston, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of PawsConnect after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
